Gotta Go Derby

It was a beautiful Sunday morning on September 12 for the "Gotta Go Derby" (a soap box) event presented by the Town of Dyer Parks.

 

The Foundation and the #52 Limited Late Model were part of the festivities including the generous support of the following business donations:

The Calumet Avenue bridge was closed down from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. to accommodate the race and watch kids (ages 7-16) compete in the Soap Box Derby race.

 

There was a Participation Awards ceremony for all 20 entries.  Followed by trophy's presented to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, Best of Show and Best Decorated.

 

 

It was a great success and we look forward to next year's competition!
